hope · renewal · guidance · healing · the well of stars
Upright
After the storm, the stars come out. This is a time of quiet healing, of hope renewed. You are being guided — not by certainty, but by something older and steadier than certainty. Follow the light. It knows the way, even when you do not.
Reversed
Hope feels distant, and the stars seem hidden. But they are not gone — the clouds are simply thick tonight. Do not give up on the light because you cannot see it. Rest, and wait. The sky always clears eventually.
Irish lore
Newgrange, the great passage tomb older than the pyramids, was aligned so that the winter solstice sun would pierce its inner chamber — a beacon of returning light in the darkest time. The Pleiades were known in Irish tradition as "the gathering of stars," and their rising marked the turning of the agricultural year.
