Upright
Not everything needs to be known right now. There is wisdom hiding behind the veil, and it will come to you in its own time — in dreams, in stillness, in that knowing you cannot explain. Be patient with the mystery.
Reversed
You may be forcing answers where silence is the teacher, or ignoring your own deep knowing in favour of certainty. The veil thins for those who wait, not for those who tear at it.
Irish lore
The Irish concept of "thin places" — where the boundary between this world and the Otherworld grows gossamer — is central to the spiritual landscape. At Samhain and Bealtaine, the veil was said to thin enough for the dead to walk among the living.
